Terms of use

These terms apply to your use of the DTGrip website and any enquiry made through our contact form. By using the site, you agree to the conditions below, which are governed by South African law.

Use of this website and enquiry form

This website is provided for businesses and individuals looking for direct-to-garment printer platens, hoops, pretreatment kits and related support. You may browse the site and submit an enquiry through the contact form for legitimate business purposes only.

You agree not to use the site in a way that interferes with normal operation, attempts unauthorised access, or submits false, harmful or misleading information. If you send an enquiry, you confirm that the details you provide are accurate and that you are authorised to make contact on behalf of your business where applicable.

  • Use the site lawfully and in good faith.
  • Do not upload malware, spam or false requests.
  • Do not try to copy restricted content or system information.

Product information, compatibility and quotes

Product descriptions, sizes, compatibility notes and workflow guidance are given to help print shops make practical decisions. We make every effort to keep information current, but fabric types, press settings, machine models and shop conditions can affect final results. A platen or hoop that suits one production line may need adjustment in another, especially where humidity, load-shedding and uneven power supply affect curing and pretreat consistency.

Any quote, recommendation or setup note given after an enquiry is based on the information supplied at the time. It remains your responsibility to check that the item selected suits your garment type, garment size, production volume and equipment configuration before ordering or using it.

Orders, payment and delivery across South Africa

Orders placed after an enquiry are subject to confirmation, stock availability and payment clearance. Delivery is generally arranged by courier from our Johannesburg base in Crown Mines to print shops nationwide, including Sandton, Randburg, Midrand, Pretoria East, Centurion, the East Rand and Durban. Delivery times can vary because of route schedules, public holidays, weather and courier capacity.

Risk in the goods passes according to the confirmed delivery arrangement. If a parcel arrives damaged, incomplete or tampered with, you must notify us promptly and keep the packaging for inspection.

  • Courier timing is an estimate, not a guarantee.
  • Special handling or urgent dispatch may carry extra cost.
  • Items must be checked on receipt before use.

Returns, exchanges and workshop checks

Because many items are chosen for specific machines, garment sizes or print methods, returns and exchanges are handled case by case. Goods may only be eligible where they are unused, in original condition and returned within the agreed period. Items that have been fitted, marked, modified or used in production may not qualify for return.

If a product arrives with a manufacturing fault or an error linked to the supplied order, we may inspect the item and offer repair, replacement or a suitable credit where appropriate. Any workshop check, sample testing or setup support provided does not change the condition of sale unless confirmed in writing.

Support visits, training and remote assistance

Support services such as platen installation, hoop setup, pretreat workflow guidance, operator training, print alignment help, workflow review, seasonal reconfiguration, remote troubleshooting, onsite support visits, new shop planning and production scaling are provided to assist your operation. These services are practical support only and do not replace your own production checks, safety procedures or compliance duties.

Where onsite work is arranged, you are responsible for providing safe access to the work area, suitable power, and a working environment that meets basic workshop requirements. If the site is not ready, the visit may need to be rescheduled and additional charges may apply.

  • Keep the work area clear and safe.
  • Have the relevant machine and garments available for assessment.
  • Follow the guidance given during training and setup.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any dispute will be handled in the South African courts with jurisdiction.

If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms will continue to apply.
